January 2021 - Tier 4 Updates
Updated: Feb 2, 2021

UPDATE: 6th January 12.00pm
Since the below statement I wrote on the 31st December, we have gone into a national lockdown which has been indicated we wont be coming out of until March. All January classes will still be made up for with extra classes when we are able to get back to normal but based on this new information I will be pausing your Subscriptions until we are able to return to normal.
During this time I want to remind all our athletes to ensure the keep up their fitness and flexibility training, we will be posting exercises and tasks on social media that will help you as well as fun and challenges you will be able to join in with. You can also find pre recorded classes on our video channel of the Hellcats website or on the App that you can do whenever you wish to.
Stay Safe!

(31st December 2020 12.00pm)
Firstly let me start by wishing you all a happy new year! I had hoped that 2021 would be a fresh start where we could leave the chaos of 2020 in the past but with the government announcement yesterday evening confirming what I was dreading, we will not be able to return from the 3rd Jan as planned.
2020 has been a hard year for many and I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support through this trying time. From socially distanced classes, virtual classes, the back and forth into and out of lockdown and rules changing all over the place! We couldn't have done it without you and your continued commitment to Hellcats.
What does Tier 4 mean for us?
As outlined above, tier 4 unfortunately means that we have to (temporarily) close our doors again. We currently have no idea how long this will be for but we will of course (as I am sure you are too!) continue to keep an eye on the updates and keep you in the loop.
This time around I have made the decision not to take everything online, we are all fed up with zoom and its just not the same as being together in person. We have decided we would rather make up the hours of practices missed with extra in person classes when we are able to do so.
Subscriptions
Due to the way our monthly subscriptions are calculated, (we work out the amount of term time weeks in the year and then divide the total amount owed for this into 12 equal monthly payments) its not quite as easy as just pausing subscriptions for the months we aren't running as that months payment doesn't just cover that months classes as it were. We also haven't been told how long we will remain in Tier 4, this could be a couple of weeks or months. Therefore your January Subscription will be taken as normal and the weeks we are not running classes (commencing the week starting 3rd Jan) will be calculated and we will make up for the hours of classes missed with extra practices where possible. In the event we cannot make up the practices missed, the amount you have paid for classes not running will be deducted from the total owed for the year (meaning you will pay less in later months) If Tier 4 restrictions continue past February I will reassess this.
Trials
If you had a trial booked for one of our classes in January this obviously will not be taking place and we will rearrange the date of your trial when we know when we can return to classes.
Please do not hesitate to contact me regarding any of the above.
Happy New Year
I look forward to hopefully seeing you all again soon!
