January Newsletter - Camps, Clinics and Comp Weekend!

Hello Hellcats!!

How is it nearly the end of January already?! The last few weeks back in the gym have been a complete whirlwind as we have been preparing for our first competition of the season.

Christmas seems a long time ago now and we have been so impressed with the commitment and dedication shown by our teams so far this year!

Tigers have begun working on their competition routine for School's Out in Bournemouth in July. The spirit and energy that this team brings into the gym every week is inspiring and they are doing such an amazing job learning so many new skills and routine building! Well done Tigers!

Panthers have finished their competition routine and have been trying so hard in practices to make it the best it can be. We cannot wait to see these girls take the floor on Saturday for the first time, we know you're going to do us proud!

Leopards have also been drilling their competition routine hard over the past few weeks and it is looking great! With some last minute changes to stunt groups, this group has taken everything in their stride and we can't wait to watch them perform on Sunday.

Cheetahs have expanded dramatically since Christmas and are now nearly full! With just a couple of spaces remaining for FREE trials, now is the time to book! This team has been working super hard on routine building ahead of their March performance in Bosham and we can't wait to see how they do! Keep working hard girls!

Lynx have been doing a wonderful job with their routine building ahead of their performance at School's Out in July. They are such a tight knit team and we love seeing them support each other and strive to achieve new skills together as a team. Well done Lynx!

Lions are so ready for this weekend's competition at ICC Southerns! This team has been pushing so hard since September and we are so proud of everything they have achieved so far. We can't wait for them to make their debut in the Junior 2 Stunt Group division this Saturday! Good luck Lions!

Jaguars are taking level 3 on by storm! They are so excited to compete on Sunday at ICC Southerns and we know they are going to do an outstanding job. We couldn't be prouder of the progress this team is making and can't wait to see them leave it all on the mat!

Our recreational team is slowly growing in both numbers and in skills! We love nothing more than watching this team discover cheerleading for the first time and seeing them achieve new goals every week. The friendships building in this team are great and it's amazing to see these athletes grow in confidence week after week! Don't forget that if you refer a friend to this class, you will receive £5 off merchandise in our Online Store

We are excited to be running another half term tumble camp on Thursday 21st February 2019 at the Feltham gymnastics centre. We are running from 12:30-3:00pm and the camp costs just £10. Spaces are filling up fast so get yours before they're gone - the perfect opportunity to nail those new skills and earn some badges!

Finally, a reminder that our next compulsory Tumble Clinic at the gymnastics centre is on Sunday 17th February. Level 2 trains 9:30-11:30 and Level 1 is 11:30-1:30.

Finally we just want to say a massive GOOD LUCK to all our teams competing this weekend - whatever happens, we are so proud of you all! Let's make this last week at training count!

See you at training! Rachel, Laura & Charlie
