May Newsletter - Clinics, Competitions and ID Cards

Hello Hellcats!!

May is almost done and we are just a couple of days away from our second competition of the season!

Lions, Jaguars, Panthers and Leopards are all competing at the Guildford Spectrum this weekend at BCA Summer Showdown.

Lions, Panthers and Leopards are all competing on Saturday while Jaguars are competing on Sunday along with one of our cheerleaders, Scarlet, who is entering an Acro solo in the dance division for the first time! We can't wait to see her debut performance.

Cheetahs have been storming ahead with their routine ready for their performance at their showcase at the end of June in Selsey.

Rec team have also been doing an awesome job learning new stunts, jumps and tumbles and putting them together for their Weybridge showcase routine.

Tickets for the Weybridge showcase are selling fast - get yours before they sell out! Tickets can be bought from coaches during training or online from our pro-shop.

All our teams will be performing in this showcase (with the exception of Cheetahs who are performing in a separate showcase in Chichester) on Wednesday July 3rd. Doors will open at 5:30pm and the show will begin promptly at 6pm.

Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for children under 10 years old. Infants under the age of 3 are free of charge.

With only a few weeks left in this season we are excited to get back in the gym and work hard to end the season on a high.

See you at training! Rachel, Laura and Charlie

Don't forget...

We can't wait for our first Showcase fundraiser! Tickets will available now and can be bought from coaches during training or from our online store.

Adult: £5 Child (under 10): £3 Infant (under 3): Free

All our Weybridge-based teams will be performing at this showcase, starting at 6pm. Cheetahs, please note your showcase is Saturday 29th June at the Selsey Centre. Ticket prices remain the same for both performances.

Tickets may be limited so book early to avoid disappointment!

Each of our competitive athletes will be issued an ID card for the BCA competition. These are essential for them to be able to compete and will be given to them when they arrive at competition.

These must be worn at all times, except on the competition floor so please bring a lanyard with you to clip them onto.

We have Hellcats bespoke lanyards available on our pro-shop and if they are ordered before Saturday, we will be able to bring them to the competition for you. These can also be bought in person at the competition so please bring £3.50 cash if you would like one.

Our next compulsory Tumble Clinic is scheduled for Sunday 9th June.

A gentle reminder that these clinics are compulsory for all members of our Weybridge competition teams.

Level 2 training is from 9:30-11:30am and Level 1 is from 11:30-1:30pm.

All members of our Recreational Team are also welcome to attend level 1 training during tumble clinics if they wish to work further on their tumbling outside of regular training sessions. Give us a heads up if you plan to attend.
